Eyes Without a Face is one of my faves. You should check out that director's previous effort, "Blood of the Beast", a documentary about French slaughterhouses.
Eyes is what many films attempt but fail to be be, truly chilling and haunting, sustaining a feeling of dread. I've heard Beasts is good.
