The monster, in shadow and line
has never been rendered so fine
With singular skill
he's inked with a quill
as masters of horror combine
A match made in horror heaven: Mary Shelley's
Frankenstein, illustrated by Berni Wrightson.

Was it intervention divine
that made him unable to dine?
When served to him pork,
he knocked over fork
and impact broke Al Franken's tine
Rejecting the fruit of the vine
Al Franken refused to drink wine
The drink he held dear
was brew-at-home beer
served cold in his own Franken stein
