
A blizzard, a terrible blow
had covered Chicago with snow
The city, snowed under
for kids was a wonder
We walked on the cars down below

These photos were all taken during Chicago's blizzard
of '67. I remember how silent the city was. With school
closed, we walked down the streets above buried
and stranded cars, here and there an antennae
poking up from the drifts.
