The eye of the goose would meander
She first took a look, then a gander
All over the gaggle
tongues started to waggle
She'd sue, but the truth isn't slander

We started our centennial tribute to Vincent Price on May 17, 2011, here. This monster marathon was our part in the annual Countdown to Halloween. It crawled along until it breathed its last on March 17, 2012.

A poet named Siergey was brash
He tried to turn limericks to cash
His phrases obscure
Of fin, fowl, and fur
Some would make poor Ogden gnash
Jim Siergey wrote limerick verse
on fauna both rare and diverse
But Jim didn't blog
on pitiful hog
whose ear he'd made into silk purse
