The Wax of Life

Spoiler warning!

When nabbed by a wax covered freak
the lovely Fay Wray gives a shriek
She's stripped in his lab
and strapped to a slab
where all of her fans get a peek

Lionel Atwill and Fay Wray visit The Mystery of the Wax Museum (Michael Curtiz, 1933), where her flesh is a lovely rosy pink in two-strip Technicolor.

With Fay stripped of all her apparel,
Atwill mixes wax in a barrel,
This terrible plight,
Sees her frying tonight,
Unless saved by brave Glenda Farrell.

The figures of wax start to melt
They're statues, so nothing is felt
But Fay, who is real
will certainly feel
the wax on her bod, oh so svelte
